Our Story
In 2018, Cindy Ronco found herself in need of a knee scooter. She quickly discovered that Colorado stores didn’t carry models with the pneumatic, all-terrain tires her doctors recommended—tires that truly supported healing while keeping patients active and able to complete daily tasks. Recognizing this gap, Cindy decided to bring these scooters to Colorado patients, offering quick access without the high cost or long shipping delays.
Driven by the fact that injuries can happen suddenly and that recovery typically takes two to six weeks, she founded Rocky Mountain Knee Scooter. Later, when Cindy relocated to Florida, she entrusted the business to her best friend, Theresa Augustine, passing the torch—and the vision—forward.
